GETTING TO LORNE

Lorne is a scenic drive south-west of Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road.

BY CAR

Lorne is approximately an hour and a half from Melbourne. Drive over the Westgate bridge and follow the signs to the Great Ocean Road.

Stop off on your way to pick up local gourmet treats from Freshwater Creek. Don’t miss the passionfruit sponge. Take a left turn to the Industrial centre before Anglesea to McGains for fresh produce and lunch. Stop at Fairhaven to take in the view or a quick surf, before arriving at Lorne.

Lorne is the perfect base for exploring the Otways and its many waterfalls & walks. By day explore the treasures of the area and in the afternoon return to your own secret paradise.

BY TRAIN & BUS

Trains from Melbourne go every half hour to Geelong. Check that you will connect with the bus at Geelong that takes you to Lorne along the Great Ocean Road.

BY PLANE

Avalon Airport is Lorne’s closest domestic airport, servicing Sydney and Brisbane. Car rental available. A 1 and half hour drive to Lorne.

Tullamarine Airport is Melbourne’s international and domestic airport, servicing all locations. Car rental available. A 2 hour drive to Lorne
