Million dollar view on a budget

The Shack Lorne is a classic 1960s beach house.

With a million dollar view this basic beach house is the ideal location to simply relax and enjoy all the amenities of Lorne without the hefty price tag.

A queen bed with soft linen and electric heater and blankets for a cold night. A central bathroom, laundry and separate toilet.

The lounge room features open plan living. There are large sliding doors that open onto a large north facing deck complete with BBQ and sensational views of the ocean. There are bright summer deck chairs so you can sit back and listen to the sound of ocean, enjoy the view and watch the kangaroos grazing at dusk.

There is a laundry with washing machine and sink. You will also find an iron and ironing board for those formal occasions.

We have hidden a few essentials in the cupboard (microwave, toaster, and cleaning equipment). The kitchen is basic but fully equipped, open plan, bar stools, round dining table with chairs. The Shack has a small ramp to the entrance and all one level.

If you would like to invite parents or parents in law, but want to give them (and you ! ) a bit of space, a Hotel Room at La Perouse is next door and available for short stays all year round. The women at La Perouse serve a set breakfast daily between 8 - 10am Parisian style on the terrace if you would like to join them (bookings essential).
